90th Annual Tom Tom Festival

June 1-2, 2018

The Yoakum Area Chamber of Commerce presents the 90th Annual Tom-Tom Festival on June 1st and June 2nd at the Yoakum City Park.  Cooks from all around will participate in Yoakum’s Annual Tom-Tom BBQ and Bean Cook-Off. Unique and interesting Art & Crafts Booths, Food Booths, A Carnival, Rodeos, and Horseshoe and Washer Tournaments, Tricycle races…. Entertainment and fun for the entire family!

There will be free live music provided by the Los Kolaches Friday night at the park. Saturday evening’s cover charge of $5 will bring you entertainment from The Barditch Hippies, Yoakum’s own Joe Koenig, with The Emotions closing out the night.

Held annually the first weekend in June, Yoakum's Tom Tom Festival is piece of a history wrapped in some good 'ol Texas fun!

The Tom Tom festival originated to honor Yoakum’s tomato industry, which was predominant in the area in the late 20s - early 30s. This Festival is one of the oldest in the region due to the “down home” style of fun, found only in South Texas. With a craft show, live music, barbeque cook-off, parade, rodeo and a whole lot more, this festival draws thousands each year... and for good reason!

No Admission Fee In Park, No Coolers Allowed
